    Hi there,

I own a lot of your other Meow plugins and am about to buy the PRO version of Media Renamer, but first want to verify if you think you’re compatible with Elementor, for renaming images AND background images. You answered another post as recently as a month ago saying “you think elementor encrypts and you’re not able to rename in ELementor” – but Elementor doesn’t encrypt anything, it just has unique ways of saving it’s references to database and CSS files, and regenerating those CSS files within Elementor then updates the links.

For example, another product here by crossi72 addresses the issue recently and says their plugin IS compatible with Elementor, that all that is needed is CSS refresh (follow this support thread).

I’d rather stay with Meow apps and buy yours and use it instead, but want to make sure you have same functionality with Elementor, as surely if the icross72 plugin can do it, so can you! 🙂

    Thanks!

    Hi 🙂

I am friend with crossy72 actually, we are not competitors 🙂 He focuses on a simpler plugin while I have a plugin with more options, as you know. If his plugin works fine with Elementor, then it should be no problem for mine; I was afraid the content should be decoded, modified and re-encoded, that would be extremely complex (and slow), but if it is doable then it’s definitely super easy to implement.

    Please contact me here:

I will implement the refresh if Elementor is detected, and make sure it works, but it would be better if you could test it too.

Hi @tigroumeow , thanks for the quick response! Glad to hear you think it could work. I’ve gone ahead and purchased the Pro version of the plugin and will try it this week and communicate with you if I find it works or not, with Elementor, as the icross72 plugin works. Note that in his comments on that plugin he references an update where he had to specifically do something to make it work (I think) – so possibly you will have to do the same? Hoping you are open to that?

Also note that I already have a ticket open on another Meow plugin created a few days ago, on the link above that you request, with no response. Are those being checked? I thought it odd that I got a response to the free WordPress support area before the contact/ticketed question on your website for a pro purchase. I have a ticket open regarding captions on your Gallery plugin appearing when they are turned off.

Yes, I believe it too. It’s basically just one line to add, a call to the pagebuilder to reset its cache. I already have this process implemented but I would like to do it as clean as possible with your help, so please contact me directly if it doesn’t work (in fact it might already).

Another developer is actually working on the front part of the Gallery and Lightbox, and has more free time for support on weekend, that’s why 🙂 Don’t worry, he will look at it.
