Thanks for your reply Sed but unfortunately it's not working. You can see it here http://www.dainikjanakantha.net/today-issue/. The images present on this page is drawing form Google Drive. Any idea how I can implement this?

    Regards,

I just cleared my cache files. by the way, I am using the latest theme Divi from Elegant Themes. I am fetching images from Google Drive using this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/google-drive-wp-media/. This is one such image link https://docs.google.com/uc?id=0B28xqjamazwrVktNTV9QR2twdVE&export=view

ok now it is activated ... nevertless, to be active the link to the inmage should end with a png, gif, jpg, or bmp...

That is why it is not working here ... try to 'cheat' by indicating https://docs.google.com/uc?id=0B28xqjamazwrVktNTV9QR2twdVE&export=view&image=.png

    Dear selinaxxx,

to help me, perhaps a link to your siteand additional info such as "does it works with internal image?" would be welcome :)

    Hello,

I have the same issue as well. Internal pictures are managed by the plug in, whereas external don't.

    Example page where it works

Example page where it does not work.

Sorry, my previous zoom plug in did not have this peculiarity.
Is it going to stay as is or is this behavior going to change?
I have no link to put in those pictures.

Yes it only take the image links ... the links sould be a link to the image itself : this is the normal behavior of the WP editor (that is why)

    Ok, thank you, it worked!

May I suggest you to add the full details about this "tip" to the FAQ?

Before you told me about the correct kind of link, I had tried to use "#" or to use the post permalink as targets, with no results.

Unexperienced users may bump into these seemingly trivial things >_<
