Hi, I wonder if this plugin redirects the customer to the order-received page after finishing the order? Because I need to capture the conversion on Google ads and Facebook ads, I’ve multiple websites and i don’t wanna setup the redirection from the PayPal. So if I use the Express Checkout in woocommerce checkout page, will the conversion be recorded 100%?

The second question, does this plugin works on old browsers? Because the PayPal Checkout plugin that has been created by WooCommerce had problem with old browsers, the PayPal purchase button wasn’t showing up, I’ve reported this problem.

    Thanks.

    Hi @moderns,

Upon successful payment, users will be redirected to the order received page. There are no known issues with any browsers.

Thanks, so this redirect is automatic? Or the user has to click on a button manually to go to order-received page?

    Hi @moderns,

If you have enabled Skip Review Page option in our plugin settings, the users will be redirected directly to order-received page after payment.

Hi @webtoffee , thank you very much for your answer, yes this option is enabled by default, but the problem, some browsers don’t redirect fast after the payment, so customers ends up with closing the browser which will cause a loss to the conversion tracking. There’s another checkout method that PayPal offers, it’s to open a popup window for the PayPal within the same Woocommerce checkout page, so the customer logins to PayPal within the same page of Checkout and once the payment is done, there will be no need for any redirect as the customer will be already in the store (similar to the PayPal Checkout plugin by Woocommerce). Is this feature available within your plugin, please? How can I add it? I’m very interested in your plugin. Thanks so much!

    Hi @moderns,

In-context flow PayPal checkout option(popup window) is available in the premium version of the plugin.

Thank you very much for the answer!

From what I can tell, this does not happen as desired by Facebook.

When redirected from Paypal, visitors are sent to a page with the following URL structure:

    /checkout/?woo-paypal-return=true&token=XXXXXXX&PayerID=XXXXXXXX

Meanwhile, the FB pixel is looking for:

    /checkout/order-received/XXXXXXX/

So the FB pixel is not tracking transactions when the visitor is taken to Paypal to pay.

    Am I missing something?

My Google Analytics and Facebook Ads data look wildly different and I’m trying to figure out why.

    Hi @h4nd5omer0b,

Are you sure that you are using the PayPal Express Checkout Payment Gateway for WooCommerce by Webtoffee plugin? We are not able to recognize the URL that you shared as ours.

@webtoffee Nope. Sorry. Got lost in the support threads. I’m struggling with WooCommerce PayPal Checkout Gateway from WooCommerce – not PayPal Express Checkout Payment Gateway for WooCommerce. Apologies.
