Thanks for reaching out. To answer your question no, you don’t need to manually place ads if you’ve allowed Site Kit to insert ad code for you. Site Kit will insert the Auto ads code on your non AMP site and your Auto ads for AMP code if you’re using AMP.
From inspecting your site I can see the required ad code placed. If you’ve recently moved to AMP it can take a few days before Auto ads for AMP start to appear on your site – providing your have an approved AdSense account and site, which it sounds like you have based on ads working previously. Please also ensure you have Auto ads enabled at AdSense level. (Ads > Overview > *your site* > Edit > Auto ads)
As everything is setup and ready for the AdSense platform to start serving ads please wait for a few days before ads appear. You may even wish to switch to transitional
mode with the AMP plugin during this period, until ads appear on your AMP site.
I’m happy to check your site in a few days to ensure everything is working as expected. If not you may need to contact the AdSense Help Center.
No problem at all, happy to help. Thanks for using Site Kit.

Hi @jamesosborne
Where do I see the ads report or revenue report for auto auds in adsense.I can see reports for the manually created ads. I also can see the auto ads on my amp pages but on the non amp pages they are firing okay.
@zibanany From checking the AdSense support center it looks like you can use the “Placement Method” to filter for Auto Ads in a report.
Please direct any further AdSense specific queries to the AdSense Help Center.
