# Does Go replace Escapade theme?

 * Hi there,
 * I’m currently using the Escapade theme, which is a child theme of Primer. They
   were both created by GoDaddy. Recently, I read a post by Go Daddy that the Primer
   theme is deprecated, and that the Go theme replaces it. I’m not having any issues
   with my Escapade theme, using WordPress version: 6.5.2.
 * My question is should I change my theme? Or is it going to cause issues in the
   future? I do have the feeling that my website is slowing down lately but not 
   sure if that’s because of the theme.
