    Hi webby1973,
I have not fully tested Game Locations on 3.7.1 or 3.8. I have run it extensively on 3.6 while developing the next release of Game Schedules. It is so simple that I can’t imagine there would be a problem, but please let me know if there is.

    Thanks,

    Hi Mark
I’m using WordPress 3.8, I’ve installed Game Schedule and Game Location. I’ve created 4 venues and 4 teams but the locations are not appearing under the teams section. Has this been tested yet? Any ideas?
    Thanks
    Nigel

    Hi Nigel,
I’m not exactly sure what you mean by “the teams section”. (??) Please review this man page and see if it helps you.

    Let me know.

I mean when entering the team information, I thought the ‘Location’ is supposed to be integrated, and appear after the ‘team slider logo’. As on your link ‘Home team Venue’. I’ve installed and activated ‘Game Locations’ but its not showing up.

    Nigel,
Okay, thanks. So the select/option menu is not appearing on the add/edit team page, right? Hummm …. This is working just fine on my site. It was tested pretty thoroughly by creating the entire 49’ers schedule on my dev site from the Teams and Locations DB’s.

I haven’t heard this one before and I’m a bit stumped at present. I suggest you take the standard debugging steps:
    a. Deactivate all other plugins besides those two.
    b. Uninstall and re-install those two.

    Let me know.

I got back to trying the locations and got it to work. I was clicking on ‘save draft’ as opposed to ‘publish’. Thanks.
I do have a quick question whilst I’m at it. I want to create a sports website with fixtures as the focus. I’d like to include major leagues, NFL, Aussie Rules, NRL etc. I may be able to get RSS feeds for these fixtures (not too sure?) but your plugin would make the fixtures look much better (a lot more work though). Is there a limit for how many leagues or teams I can have? Will it become confusing with so many teams?
    Thanks
    Nigel

    Hi Nigel,
There are no limits on leagues or teams. Don’t know if it will be confusing; guess it depends on how you structure the site.

Two things I have considered (when time allows):
    1. Show a fixed number of teams; like the top 3 in each league.
    2. Feed standings from an RSS feed or otherwise.

    Regards,
    -Mark
