Hi, does facebook pixel plugin needed to be activated after publishing to facebook in order to continue working. The reason for this, is that I want to have my page load faster without any third party requests. So I was planning on activating it only when I need to publish a new product. Once published and approved by Facebook, I want to deactivate the plugin. So to make things clearer, would the publish product still be live/active on facebook after deactivating the plugin?
    Looking forward to your response!

  • Doubtful. I don’t see how the script would slow your page load time, so if you want to not worry about activating/deactivating the plugin just put your main pixel in your header.php theme file, and manually track events by creating event codes for specific pages. If you want to worry about load times, I’d look at my installed plugins and caching first, not a pixel request.
