Does ElasticPress only work with “Search” ?q= queries

    Hi there, I would like to know if ElasticPress only works with search type of queries in WordPress (?q= in URL) that users do, or if it works as well with custom DB queries that the theme does automatically (for example, listing a specific content based on some custom post fields).
