It was working fine, but then I tried to change something (htaccess?) and now it can’t find the webpage and I have repeated error 500 in Pagespeed. The lock still shows.

Really Simple SSL has received no response from the webpage.

Also, should I enable the htaccess?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Ryte is telling me:

    https://www.chocolatecartoons.com/ (301) is forwarding to https://chocolatecartoons.com/ (500)

I have never used www. in any of my websites. Why would it be doing this?

I just checked your redirect, and your site. I could detect no 500 error on your site for any redirect.

The redirect from www to non-www is correct, especially if you do not use the www domain. You want all visitors from www to be redirected to non-www.

This redirect is handled automatically by WordPress.

    Thank you.

Didn’t work yesterday or Sunday, but is now working. Maybe because:

    1. I have little traffic
    2. Yoast had to catch up
    3. Google DID take time to read new sitemap

So for anyone with a similar problem, I think you have to wait a day or two if you change something in SSL.
