No there’s no way for that now.

    Thanks. Shame!

Will Amazon Affiliate Link Localizer still not work with W3 Total Cache? Or have updates made it so these can now work together?

I’ve not tested it with the plugin, so I don’t no if they’ve changed Total Cache to stop it from breaking things, but I’ve not made any updates to the script with this in mind.

Sadly I can only dedicate so much time to a free script, as other things must take priority. If I have some spare time I might take a look in the future.

This seems to me like a very important issue. I would use this plugin on all my sites. But if it can’t be used with a cache (preferably W3 Total Cache) then it means I really can’t use it on sites that otherwise load too slowly. Page speed not only affects user experience, but even affects your site’s rankings. So this would leave us having to choose between localizing the links and site speed, but not able to have both.

I certainly understand you can only do what you have time for. But I would think this is a priority.

Is anyone else also concerned about this? How are you dealing with it?

The best way would be to use JavaScript to make an external call to the plugin and return the results. If done correctly this could happen in the background without the user noticing any changes to the site.

I’m currently using Varnish as a reverse proxy cache and would love to see it compatible with this plugin, I’d happily help contribute a bit of $$ to see it developed.

    Regards,
    Paul
