    Sorry for the delay. We can’t guarantee compatibility with a version of WordPress that is that old. You can try it out and see if it is, but since we update Akismet to work with the more recent versions of WordPress, I can’t verify if it’ll work properly.

    I would encourage your client to upgrade as they don’t currently have access to the latest security updates and bug fixes that the WordPress team have released since then.
