Or are you using a page builder or something like that? * It should work with any embedding plugin if this plugin relies on the embed function of WordPress itself. * Caching is a bit more complicated because there are different states depending on your set settings. However, at least the functionality to add privacy to the embeds should work fine with caching plugins. You click on a “consent”-button, it goes away, the media appears. Visitors can see/watch it. Right, so far? If so, there was no layer on my site. There was no option people could click on anything. I don’t have the plugin installed anymore. * I used different social media: youtube with embedding code provded by YT. I used this [https://de.wordpress.org/plugins/youtube-embed-plus/](https://de.wordpress.org/plugins/youtube-embed-plus/) to embed videos. Then there’s the source of this problem. The plugin relies on the embed detection of WordPress and only if WordPress itself detects it as embed – which it usually only does for plain links – Embed Privacy is currently able to do its job. * We will change this behaviour in the future, but stick to it at the moment.
