I bought CPTUI Extended so that I can create nice looking pages with my custom types.

I cannot see anywhere inthe documentation how to do this. I have delved all of the amin menu items looking for settings on how to dupplicate the layout examples you show on your website and I can find nothing. If it is in the documentation it is buried somehwere.

Can you explain how to duplicate any of the examples you display on your webistie here: https://pluginize.com/cpt-ui-extended-features/

    Thanks

Any layouts in particular that you’re interested in?

Really the best way to get started with this is to try out the builder that has a TinyMCE button available in your post editor and try out the variety of layouts. Hopefully what layout corresponds to which item shown on that link is decently obvious, but we’re able to answer any questions you want.

What builder are you talking about?

I have created a post type called apparel, its basically an item catalog. I have 5 posts in the new custom post type as a sample.

I Want to display them all on the page like you have here: https://pluginize.com/cpt-ui-extended-features/ and then allow users to click the item and go to the full custom post type.

This seems basic to do, is it anywhere in your documentation?

Can you explain how I would do this?

    Thanks.

While we’ve had new layouts added since the video was originally recorded, I’d review the first video shown at https://pluginize.com/plugins/custom-post-type-ui-extended/ as it shows where the builder is for the plugin and how to open it up to start selecting layouts to use. It’s sounding like this may be the first step that you’re perhaps struggling with, but once you see it, I think the rest will start falling into place for you.

We’ll also note down that we need to provide a bit more clarity in first steps with the plugin to help with this in the future.

Wow that was helpful. I dont usually watch the videos so yes, I think it would be good to have a sort of quick-start page int he documents for people like me. I also dont normally think to find the tutorials on how to use a plugin within the plugin listing page on WordPress, especially when there are documentation links inthe plugin admin UI itself. I followed those first when I could not figure it out on my own and it would be nice to have the tutorial there.

I have other questions now, because the layouts are cropping the featured image so I will make a new post about this issue.

    Thanks for the speedy support!
