 * just wondering if there’s any basic instruction as I wanted to add a custom field
   to the widget options and display it on the front end – would I just add it to
   functions.php?

 * And then he marks as Resolved! I don’t think he’s even reading support posts 
   I know he didn’t read my earlier ones and he certainly didn’t read yours. Sorry
   I can’t help I clicked your post hoping to find help but alas – none!
