# Document library-type of functionality..?

 * Hi all,
 * I am trying to create a section of a website where users log in to sort of a 
   library that’s just filled with .PDF files and .XLS files, and the registered
   users can just download them at will.
 * Anyone have a plugin/or widget they can recommend? I found this, but am unsure
   if it’d work like I need it to:

 * I would like this set up such that a user *would* have to have, first, a username
   and be registered with my WordPress blog in order to use this “document library”
   But I don’t necessarily need any sort of a auto-registration system in place–
   I’ll manually create the users when they need access. But I just do want people
   to be able to login, first, before they can get to the Document Library and download
   the .XLS and .PDF files.
 * Just wanting to know if anyone knows, offhand, a good type of plugin for doing
   something like this?
