    Hi. Great plugin, thank you.

I encountered a problem with the doc access rights. Apparently, if a user (member) creates a doc and sets the access for read/edit to “Admins and mods of <group>” he/she cannot access it anymore.

Also, when the user creates a doc, the content is mandatory.

Could you please give me some directions on where to look at to resolve these two problems? (i’m in a bit of a hurry, due to a project deadline).

    Thank you

Hi there. The first issue is not so much a bug as a design decision. There may be cases when a user should be cut off from a Doc that he created. In the future, I may add some protection to make sure that it’s not possible for the author himself to change the setting in this way (only an admin should be able to do it).

The “content is mandatory” issue has been resolved in the development version. The Content field will no longer be mandatory in version 1.5, out soon.

    Hello, thanks for the response.

Would it be possible to combine the “admins and mods” and the “doc creator only” access options? Could you please give me some directions on where to look at? I am a bit of a noob when it comes to wordpress plugin development…

    Thank you 🙂

I found a solution. I looked through you’re recent commits and found a solution for another bug, but this helped me find the location where i should change the code for this to work.

I will mark this as resolved. Thank you.
