Support » Plugin: Related Posts Thumbnails Plugin for WordPress » Do your CSS/JS need to load on every page???

  • Resolved schifo

    Hello guys,

I like your pugin, a lot!
But your JS/CSS is slowing down my website with no reasons as It’s loaded on every page of my website!!
Even if in that page I don’t have anything related with your plugin.
    – I have a post membership website
    – On each post page I want and need related thumbnails cSS/js to be loaded, as I have such functionality offered below the page
    – But for instance, on my posts-thumbnail page where I list all of my posts so that people can click on one of them and open that page…….I DON’T need your files to be loaded!

I verified all of that with Google dev. tools.
I have wp/pugins, etc all updated and my website is really optimized for speed, have a fast VPS + WP rocket cache plugin + using cloudflare CDN with rocket loader…
It’s just your files that are loaded on every page at take up to 1.12 sec each!!! For no reason.

Pls help me understand how can I load your file only on pages where the plugin is needed.

    Thanks a lot
    Kind regards

    Hi there,

I see that Gutenberg block assets are loading on all pages, thanks for the heads up.
We will fix this issue in our upcoming release.

    Your point is much appreciated.
    Cheers! ✌

I am not using Gutenberg. I have undesign uncode theme 🙂
So I don’t think it’s related to gutenberg…. many plugins (e.g. formidable) have an options that allow you to “load assets only where is needed”.

Love you guys, you are great!!

thanks for the update, will wait for it 🙂

We have released this fix, please update to the latest version.

I checked my version and I have: 1.7.2.
No updates are showing… is that the new version already? Because I don’t see any option to solve the problem under settings…
    thanks guys
