We have a custom form type called “Stories”. Stories are created via the WP-admin view OR Formidable Forms right now.

Does your plugin allow a way of displaying Stories on the frontend and allow users to edit entries? I can’t use Formidable because the form that creates Stories doesn’t include all the fields that I’d like users to be able to edit after submission.

Lastly, can users be limited to viewing and editing entries that match their user_id?

    Hello @amateurhr,

Yes, WPUF does allow to edit posts from the front end, those are created from the backend. But those posts must have to created by the same user. Because with WPUF, the user can check only their own post. Like, from front-end dashboard admin can check their own post which they have posted. Admin unable to check the other user’s post from the front end dashboard. Same as for other users. From the front end dashboard, User can check their own post which they have posted.

One more thing, on the WPUF frontend dashboard it shows the default post but I have happy to inform you that, WP User Frontend works with the shortcode. So you can create a page with custom post type like “stories” or you can configure the account page with the shortcode. Check all the WPUF shortcodes from here with the guideline. If you like to add a new tab on my account page, check this doc.

    Thanks.
