• this app is not a good experience for the user. They added their own ads that are annoying ads that follow you as you navigate the app. The company is definitely making a lot of money on this app. There are probably a lot of wordpress sites that don’t even realize the nature of these ads since it happens with the latest upgrade. They are probably hoping that wordpress owners do not check. It gets really frustrating when you always have to check to see if the plugin you use from other companies are honest. Also it is probably something that you will get panelized by google since google only allows a certain amount of advertising on a site. Also these ads are not targeted toward your site’s related content.

It is better to do your own plugin.

*Installs plugin on test site, sees this on plugin page including typos*

We sometimes display advertisements on your WiziApp powered mobile site to help pay the bills. This keeps free features free! To eliminate ads entirely / Take over the Ad Space, you can puchase this item

Sometimes? The ads came up immediately on my test installation.

And the company does not even tell you about these ads. This is why it is always better to created you own plugins there are too many company looking to take advantage especially online.

    It’s tricky.

If the ads are being sent via a service and the author’s remote servers are generating the content for you (HTML and ads) then that’s software as a service or serviceware.

Plugins that are services gives me headaches. IMHO the ads are Not Good™ when you can only turn them off when you ante up money but that’s part of the service apparently.

If you don’t want the ads from their service then I suggest you either make a purchase or just don’t use their plugin.

Our firm employs a team of 3 developers and designers and ads revenues are helping us to pay the bills.

The top of the opening page of the Wiziapp plugin is dedicated to a clear information about the ads which are added to the free version, so we did our best to be transparent about it.

Our ad will not affect your Google adsense account, because it is not “Google ads”.
