Do sites that use WP have to give credit?

    I’ve seen several sites that use WP, but they don’t have the ‘Powered By WordPress’ at the bottom, the only reason I know it uses WP is it has a /wp-admin login 😉 . Is this violating the ToS of WP? Should I report these sites?

    Especially as the theme creator may not be getting recognition.

    Before “reporting” – you should read the license that comes with your WP package.
    (No, nobody has to give credit in form of a visible link)

    As for the themes… it always depends (again) on the license they were released under.
