I am using Atahualpa theme with the "Use Bytes for All SEO set to 'No'"

I am using All-in-one SEO Plugin.

I am wondering whether or not the search engines actually follow the 'more' tag and find the complete post?

I don't know for absolute sure if they follow More links or not (I think they probably do). But anyway, most themes have the Post Title linked to the permalink of the article anyway. So search engines would definitely follow that hyperlink. Better-yet they will tend to associate the resulting linked page with the words used in the hyperlink (that is, tje words of your post title, which is usually more keywordy than "Read more>>" anyway).

So just make sure your post-titles are a link to the full post.
