 * Hello,
 * I was wondering if a WordPress site is slowed down by having too many plugins
   or widgets installed.
 * Whenever a plugin or a widget is installed, I notice the additional javascript
   and css files that need to be loaded at the start for all pages. I’d assume this
   will impact the site loading time.
 * Some plugins are just for one page, like the contact form plugin. But it looks
   like all pages will load the javascript for the form.
 * Are there ways to optimize plugins and widgets for speed? Thanks in advance and
   Happy Holidays to all!

 * Every bit of code that is added to a site will slow it down to some degree. Some
   plugins have large overheads, others are negligible.
 * Most can be optimised, but it depends on the way you have your site setup and
   what you’re using the plugin for.
 * Adding a cache to the site is the quickest route, for speeding things up.
