do not want to lose statistics when staging replaces production

    Hi, we’re running WP-Statistics on our production site. We have some good stats built up. We’re about to revamp our site and what we have in our staging site will overwrite our production site. However, I would like to keep the accumulated stats that we have – especially for the home page whose URL will not change at all. Is there a way to export stats from one installation and then import them into a new installation of WP-Statistics?

    I was able to install WP-Statistics in the new site (staging). I then dumped the non-empty statistics tables. I was then able to load them into the tables on the staging site. Now when it migrates to production it will have the production stats already accumulated. I think we’re good.
