• I do not want the blog featured on the main page. I have created a new page in the navigation for the blog. However I cannot get the blog posts we have created to appear on this new page. Where can I find the code snippets to put on this new page so my blog posts appear there?

  • There is no need for snippet, you just need to point WordPress to send posts to your newly created page. You can do that at yoursite.com/wp-admin/customize.php , tab “Front Page”, for option “Front page displays” select A static page, and then for option “Post page” your new page.

The question is that if I want a menu item “Blog” and clicking on it to navigate to a new page where my posts are, than what should I do?

As a temporary solution I defined a mnu item as Category, having a Blog category and assigning all post to this category. But this is not the perfect solution.

    Any advice? Thx in advance.

I have my front page set to static front page but I am still having problems with my blog page. I do not see any way to set the blog page to a post page.

The only way I was able to get my posts to appear on the new page was to add a short code but the post information then is limited to the title and article. What I am looking for is to make my blog page what my front page used to contain – the blog and any additional information like
The title, author, summary and the ability to to create a link to READ MORE with a maximum of 3-5 posts per blog page.

    Thanks for any help.

    Have a look at this:

    It worked for me
