O.k. When you do not answer stupid questions, thats fine.

There are more plugins out there, bye bye

    Hi @tempomat,

Thank you for reaching out to us! We’re sorry for the delayed response — due to the weekend, we were unable to get back to you earlier.

You are correct — the calculator was not functioning properly. The issue might have been related to caching or an improper import of the calculator.

In the calculator, checkbox fields are supposed to appear after selecting a service option in the “What we do” dropdown. Based on the service you choose, specific checkboxes should show up, allowing you to add service options to the summary.

However, the problem was that the checkboxes were not displaying. We will fix this issue on our end soon.

In the meantime, if you would like to use the correct version of the template, you can download it here: Download Correct Calculator Version

    Kind regards,
    James

No chance, same same. Imported the Correct Calculator Version. Does not work like before.

And why is there an empty image placeholder which can not be changed for “What we do”? I do not use Cache… Do you talk about Browser Cache?

I tried several more templates, and they all have some bugs. for example Conference Registration, can only book 1 item – add another one button missing.

    Hello,

Thank you for your patience, and I’m sorry to hear you’re still facing issues with the Cost Calculator Builder plugin. I’ve reviewed your latest comments—“Imported the Correct Calculator Version. Does not work like before” and “And why is there an empty image placeholder which cannot be changed for ‘What we do’?”—and I’ll address each one step-by-step based on the plugin documentation to help you resolve these problems.1. “Imported the Correct Calculator Version. Does not work like before.”

If the calculator isn’t working as it did previously after importing, here are some troubleshooting steps to try:

    • Check Formula and Field Settings: After importing, the field IDs in your formula might not align with the current setup, which can break calculations. Go to the calculator editor, review the formula, and ensure all fields (e.g., quantity, price) are correctly mapped. You can find detailed instructions in the Creating Formulas section of the documentation.
    • Verify Conditional Logic: If your calculator uses conditional logic, double-check that the conditions are set up properly. Incorrect conditions can stop the calculator from functioning as expected. See the Conditional Logic documentation for guidance.
    • Ensure Plugin is Updated: Confirm you’re using the latest version of the plugin, as updates often fix compatibility issues or bugs from older versions. Check for updates in your WordPress dashboard under Plugins.
    • Browser Cache: Since you mentioned you don’t use a caching plugin, yes, I’m referring to browser cache. Even without a site cache, your browser might be holding onto outdated data. Try clearing your browser cache (e.g., in Chrome, go to Settings > Privacy and Security > Clear Browsing Data) or test the calculator in a different browser to see if that resolves the issue.

If it still doesn’t work after these steps, could you please share more details about what’s different now (e.g., specific errors or behaviors)? This will help me pinpoint the issue further.2. “And why is there an empty image placeholder which cannot be changed for ‘What we do’?”

For the empty image placeholder issue, here’s how you can address it:

    • Manage Images in Settings: In the calculator editor, look for a Design or Settings tab (depending on your version). There should be an option to upload or replace images. If it’s a placeholder, you can either add your own image or remove it. Check the documentation for your specific template if this option isn’t immediately obvious.
    • Template-Specific Behavior: Since you’ve tried several templates, this might be a quirk of the template you’re using. Some templates have fixed placeholders that can’t be edited directly. Try switching to another template to see if the issue persists, or refer to the template’s documentation for any notes on image management.
    • Browser Cache Check: Even though you don’t use a site caching plugin, clearing your browser cache (as described above) might refresh the display and allow the placeholder to update. Testing in a different browser can also help confirm if this is the cause.

If the placeholder still can’t be changed, it could be a bug with the template. I recommend contacting the plugin’s support team with details about the template you’re using—they may have a specific fix or workaround.Additional Note on Template Bugs (e.g., Conference Registration)

You also mentioned trying several templates and finding bugs, like the “Conference Registration” template only allowing one item to be booked with no “add another one” button. This could be a limitation or bug in that template. Here’s what you can do:

    • Check Template Documentation: Look up the specific template in the plugin documentation to see if this is a known issue or if there’s a workaround.
    • Report the Issue: If it’s not documented, it’s worth reporting this to the plugin’s support team. They can investigate and potentially update the template.
    • Customization Option: If you need to book multiple items and the template doesn’t support it, you might need to customize the calculator by adding a repeatable field or section—check the documentation for advanced customization options.

I hope these steps help you get the calculator working as expected and resolve the image placeholder issue. If you’re still stuck or run into more problems, please let me know more details—like the template names or specific errors—and I’ll do my best to assist further. So you are saying, your own Templates maybe do not work by just importing? I need to customize the Details?

I checked you points – no way and getting more weired. Anyway, why do you provide templates which are corrupted anyway? And there is no form where user can give contact data… When i activate order form, the logic changes and breaks the workflow…

THX for support, but I am done.
