I just installed Sketch and I do not have a portfolio section on the oeft sidebar in admin nor do I see this Navigate to Appearance → Customize → Featured Content what am I doing wrong!

You’ll need to activate Jetpack to use both those features. For Featured Content, no specific module is needed, and for Portfolios activate the Custom Content Types module.
