# Do NOT require email…..

 * Hi guys,
 * Previously it was possible to have a registration form which had no email field.
   The user would be assigned an email address of, say, [nobody@mydomain.com](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/do-not-require-email-2/nobody@mydomain.com?output_format=md)
 * This appears to have changed, or I have changed something unwittingly.
 * Any advice? Now if I try to create a user registration form without an email 
   field it throw an error.
