Now those are gone, and my tags seem to be back. Much better than I initially feared. * Still don’t understand why it claimed not to see the table, and I didn’t even see it through PHPMyAdmin. The widget is a little bit harder to fix, but it might work with the new version provided by the developer. * [@phd38](https://wordpress.org/support/users/phd38/): The creepiest thing was not the widget (though it was the hardest to fix). The worst was right after doing the update, the screen gave me 10-15 errors saying he couldn’t execute a query on the main mediatagger table (because the table was missing). Those same errors were displayed on the top of the page when looking at my site or the admin console. Somehow deactivating & reactivating fixed this issue for me. * The reason I posted so quickly is to warn people as early as possible. I always double check the support forum before upgrading an important plugin to a new major release. In this case it seemed there wasn’t an issue, and I thought I might have been the first to experience this issue. Luckily the problem solved itself, considering I run a photoblog it would have taken me a looong time to retag everything. * Anyway, I’d like to say thanks for the great plugin. And thank you for the quick response.
