With “main” site, do you perhaps mean “child post”?
We have wp multisite. We have a “main” website where we got a lot of child post from multisite subpages. We use on the “main” site the post modified time of the child posts (and the own main site posts) for ordering the posts.
I would like to disable the modified time on parent posts when broadcasting.
If I modified the Protect Child Properties plugin to preserve the modifed time, would that solve your problem?
yes, I think it will be good, thanks
The plugin has been modified and tested.
If you have previously purchased the premium or control pack, please contact me via e-mail for a beta version of the Protect Child Properties add-on that protects the post modified date.
I uploaded the new control pack, and I use the “protect child properties” but if I updated the parent post, the child post modified date is change.
Which setup element is good? the “status” or what?
I have not yet released the modification date protection – was planning to do that next week.
If you e-mail me I can send you a beta version of the latest control pack with the date protection setting.
