Do images revert to bigger if Smush is uninstalled?

    An iportant question I didn’t see in the FAQ:

    Do pictures go back to their original (bigger) status if someone deactivates or deletes the plugin?

    Hi Lucio7,

    Sorry to hear that you want to disable the plugin 🙁
    However, you have 2 solutions :
    1. You can move the _unsmushed.jpg files to the original name (manually)
    2. You can set quality to 100% and smush all pictures. Then, it will revert the pictures with almost original pictures.

    Hi Charles,

    Your plugin is awesome, no way I want to disable it :).

    But I like planning in advance, you never know you might discontinue it in the future or there might be some conflicts.

    And actually I wanted some reassurance that the pictures stayed smushed, and it seems that’s what you just said.

    Yes, the plugin keep a backup of the original file, and we’ll add in a future release a “rollback” option.
