Do I need to stripslashes when using $wpdb?

    Do I need to be using stripslashes before I add content to a row with $wpdb and/or when I get content from a row?

    To me it makes sense that I should have to in either case and WordPress would just handle it. But I’m getting inconsistent results… sometimes I need to be stripslashes from my data when I get it from a table, and sometimes I don’t…
