[Resolved] Do I have to create a POT file for themes?

    Hi there,

I finally (!!) succeeded in installing multisite wordpress with domain mapping. Ouff…. And installed the multi language switcher.

Now, I thought about it before, but not thoroughly perhaps, I see that my theme (colorway) can’t be network activated. Reasons seems to be that the language directory with .pot file is missing.

My primary site runs that theme. But my second domain can’t see it.

Do I have to create now a POT file? And if, how? Like this skippy-explanations?

    Thanks for any hints!

Great! You got your multisite working. 🙂

What plugin are you using for managing languages?

    Hi there,

any suggestions, help, tips available? I am kind of stuck, and would need otherwise to go back to “normal site” mode, which would really be sad after investing so many hours into the multi-site development.

    Thanks for any help!

    Hi there,

just to conclude: I finally just created a “language” folder, with the default .mo/.po generated via PoEdit, and it worked. As I can translate title, subtitle, etc. in the admin part of the WordPress/Theme section, it’s quite alright.
