Do gallery images get indexed

    Hi, im using this plug-in on my portfolio page,can you tell me if the images on my gallery page will be indexed by google? they are all named images and tagged ect

    Hi @mcrurban

    Envira uses best practices when coding for gallery images and things like that to so the image title and alt text is used when displaying the gallery images and that is in turn indexed by Google so make sure that your images have a title and alt text for the SEO rankings you’re hoping to hit.

    Our friends at WPBeginner have some amazing articles on things like this even when not talking about gallery images but images in general on your site.
