Do Commission Export Files work with MassPay?

    I’m working with PayPal to get MassPay set-up on my account.

    Do the .CSV files exported via the ‘Commissions’ tab work with MassPay, or will I need to format them in a different way to be able to pay out lot of different vendors all at once?

    Hello,

    I’ve just added a new export totals button in the 2.0.5 release that makes this easier. Before they were line items which you would have had to them total yourself. The export currently doesn’t include their email addresses but I could add that in the next release.

    Thanks for the info.

    The new update doesn’t work great with my existing theme, so I want to hold of on that for now.

    So at this moment, using Version 1.9.15 without any additional plugins, I would have to individually go through each payout and process them manually? Using the export file as a reference to find the PayPal information of each vendor via the user dashboard?

    Is that the right process? Am I missing something?

    I appreciate I could use the 3rd party payouts plugin, or set up adaptive payments, but I’m just trying to understand what the default process is on the free version.

    Hello,

    Yes, however the export file would have multiple entries per vendor per order. The new export button has only one vendor per line with their total due. Then use the vendor information to link the PayPal emails to their vendor ids. Before this there was no export options at all.

    You would not be able to setup adaptive payments the system is completely depreciated by PayPal and only active for existing users. You have to use the new payouts system.

    I’ve added a GitHub issue to further enhance the output files to make it easier to identify the vendors via their name and paypal/registered email.

    Would there be any way at all for me to get this update on Version 1.9.15 too or would this be something just for the major update release?
