# DNS Server Error

 * Please can someone help I am having a complete nightmare!
 * Yesterday I was altering my site in WP, something went wrong and it stopped working.
   I’m not quite sure why but I thought that if i downloaded WordPress again in 
   Fantastico from my cpanel it would fix the bug. Wrong! instead it managed to 
   completely delete my whole site.
 * I have since tried to restore a back up from Fantastico. I downloaded the back
   up file to my computer then uploaded that via FTP to the file where by site lies
   in my root directory. Then I uploaded my backup sql file in my SQL database. 
   I thought that this would work but it hasnt.
 * Now when I try and log in to my dashboard I receive a DNS server error message.
   Can anyone help at all?

 * you should point the nameservers pointed at your host.

 * WordPress doesn’t do anything with DNS. If you’re having DNS issues it’s best
   like TCBarrett said, contact your host. It sounds as if the two issues are unrelated.
