You seem to have a good DNS record (assuming its pointing to the right place)
nslookup chicagometalsupply.com
Server: 8.8.4.4
Address: 8.8.4.4#53
Non-authoritative answer:
Name: chicagometalsupply.com
Address: 66.90.94.243
but I see a 500 error when I try to connect to http://www.chicagometalsupply.com/homepage
so if that is the right host, there’s an error on your site.
thank you – any idea of what the error could possibly be on the site? I disabled any recent plugins to no avail – any way I can restore the site to how it was “yesterday”
It looks like you have some sort of funky redirect. what changes di you make since it last worked?
adding a plugin for a blog designer but deactivated – thats pretty much it – how do I fix the redirect?
can i simply revert the site to the way it was when it was working yesterday?
If you made a backup, you can revert.
However, as you probably didn’t 🙂 please post a copy of your .htaccess file
how do i get to that file? to copy and paste
use your favorite FTP program to download .htaccess or open it from your hosting control panel.
