I got this mail today saying:
Wordfence found the following new issues on “מתייעלים – Mityaalim”.
Alert generated at Friday 16th of June 2017 at 05:01:44 PM
    Warnings:
    * Your DNS records have changed

I called BlueHost support and was told that everything is fine and nothing changed.
So, if all OK why do I get this message?
And if BlueHost is wrong, where can I see the changes?
    Thank you

  • Hi @axiosil
Could you please share a screenshot showing this warning?

Also, you can check your domain name DNS history using this tool, let me know what you will get.

    Thanks.

    Thanks,
The warning was not on the screen, it was an email.
I tried few tools to find dns history and only 1 pointed to something on June 16th. and that agreed with the date of email I got from Wordfence.

The domain was created on Jan 2017

Then, that’s it, I think you will need to get in contact with your domain name registrar or your hosting provider (depends on which one is controlling your DNS zone file) and make sure this modification was legit.

    Thanks.

I just received an email with this information and when I use this tool to check:
    http://viewdns.info/iphistory/
It tells me that the date this ip address was active was: 2016-10-16 ???
So can I assume that WordFence is misreporting this ?
    TIA, Dave
