# DNS or Hardcoding Problem

 * Hi all,
    I have recently loaded my site to my new domain. Now the site itself
   links to the domain but when I click on subpages like “About me” it relinks to
   the site before.
 * To get this more clear here is my domain: [http://www.srportfolio.de](http://www.srportfolio.de).
   
   When you click now on menu and go to “about me” it redirects to [http://froggy.bplaced.net/portfolio/](http://froggy.bplaced.net/portfolio/)…
 * This means that google will start to index things using that url which I don’t
   want.
 * I already tried to change the worpress adress, site adress under “General Settings”,
   but that didn’t work at all.
 * How can I fix this? And would you be able to explain step by step as I’m still
   new to all this.

 * Using what method you loaded your site to new domain? Your new domain contains
   only one page which is your **home** page. If try to access portfolio via this
   new domain, it is giving me 404 page not found error.

 * I changed the domain settings under my webspace/hosting site (bplaced.net). So
   they asked me for the domain name which is srportfolio.de, for the home directory
   which is /portfolio/ and the type (cname).
 * I entered froggy.bplaced.net under the resource record data settings of my domain
   provider.
 * I didn’t change anything under wordpress itself or under my ftp server.
 * I hope I could answer your question to help find an answer.
