  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    Hey, thanks for the reply!

I have tried everything you said and I still have that problem. However, if I change the theme, the extra div won’t appear anymore! In any other browser, the website works flawlessly, but IE is just unbelievablely buggy.

Do you have any other solutions? Do you think it’s a CSS problem? And also, why only those pages are displaying like that?

It is surely a CSS problem although I wouldn’t have the insight into a cure for the IE9 bugs. CSS gurus out there?

Best solution would be to dump IE9:)

    Sorry I can’t help!

Does anyone know a good plugin to display a message whenever the user enter the website with Internet Explorer?
