“Division by zero” error message after update

    Hi Seriously Simple Podcasting Team!

    Thanks for this great plugin – I use it for years for two podcasts and I’m very happy with it. 🙂

    After I updated the plugin today, I get this error message on top of every episode when using the HTML 5 Player. The podcast cover image is also not visible in the player any more.

    And in Pocket Casts, just the episode summary is displayed and not the whole post as usual.

    Warning: Division by zero in /users/hoerster/www/logbuchdigitalien/wp-content/plugins/seriously-simple-podcasting/php/classes/handlers/class-images-handler.php on line 44

    Would be great if you could fix it 🙂

    I use the standard “Twenty Seventeen” WP theme.

    Hi @markushoerster,

    Are you seeing this error on the /podcast page or when using the Castos Player block or player shortcode in posts/pages? If you could be more specific on how to recreate it, that would be great. 🙂

    Hi Kelly, yes, the error message appears on the /podcast page on top of every episode – below the headline.

    And the album art is not displayed in the HTML5 player. When I use the standard compact player, the error message is gone.

    I’m on the latest version of the plugin and WordPress (5.7.2)

    The album art also disappeared from my RSS-feed:

    Also Deezer doesn’t show my latest episode.

    @markushoerster is your proper artwork still set under Podcast > Settings > Feed Details > Cover image

    Also, thank you for being more specific with the error. I am going to try and recreate it on my end.

    The problem with the error message is solved: It appeares the required size for the cover art in the feed has been changed at some point. I uploaded the image in a bigger version and now the HTML5 Player works fine again 🙂

    @markushoerster – That’s wonderful to hear. I’ve had the darndest time trying to recreate the issue, I guess I would have never been able to recreate it unless I had an image smaller than now required.

    Can you tell me what size your image was? I would like to make note of this in case we see it again.

    The image was 1000×1000 px before.
