Hey Guys, I run your plugin with the DIVI theme and starting today I am getting an error when your plugin is activated.

edge105.com is the website. It doesn’t seem to affect the front end – but as you can see in the screen shot it has broken the theme builder. which is the best part of Divi. When I try to save the page while in the Divi builder – I get this error below.

Once I deactivate your plugin – I can save… Very unfortunate as I use your plugin for an important part of my site.

Do you have any advice or can you see as to why this is happening. As Divi is a very widely used theme.

    see error below.

Error: “An error has occurred while saving your page. Various problems can cause a save to fail, such as a lack of server resources, firewall blockages, plugin conflicts or server misconfiguration. You can try saving again by clicking Try Again, or you can download a backup of your unsaved page by clicking Download Backup. Backups can be restored using the portability system while next editing your page.

Contacting your host and asking them to increase the following PHP variables may help: memory_limit, max_execution_time, upload_max_filesize, post_max_size, max_input_time, max_input_vars. In addition, auditing your firewall error log (such as ModSecurity) may reveal false positives that are preventing saves from completing.

Lastly, it is recommended that you temporarily disable all WordPress plugins and browser extensions and try to save again to determine if something is causing a conflict.”

Right now, it seems we are having an issue with page builders like Divi and Elementor that rely on post types as there is a conflict with the ajax we implemented for a feature we just released. I would turn off Radio Station, save your work in Divi, then turn Radio Station back on and see if that helps while we plot out a fix.

I have added a fix to dev version 2.3.2.2 for 2.3.3 release. It was the new AJAX saving of shifts/tracks that was being triggered in other AJAX actions that use the save_post action. If you can test it out this and report back as soon as you can, we would like to push this as a release fix as soon as we can as it significant enough to affect a variery of themes/plugins.

2.3.3 will be out on Monday morning sometime before 12 noon EST. You should keep the dev version active until then and then take the update.

Just got a fatal error from WordPress for this version….
Let me know what we should do! Thanks for looking into this.
Will for sure leave a review – hope this gets sorted quick

    Howdy!

Since WordPress 5.2 there is a built-in feature that detects when a plugin or theme causes a fatal error on your site, and notifies you with this automated email.

In this case, WordPress caught an error with one of your plugins, Radio Station.

First, visit your website (https://edge105.com/) and check for any visible issues. Next, visit the page where the error was caught (https://edge105.com/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?_fs_blog_admin=true) and check for any visible issues.

Please contact your host for assistance with investigating this issue further.

If your site appears broken and you can’t access your dashboard normally, WordPress now has a special “recovery mode”. This lets you safely login to your dashboard and investigate further.

    https://edge105.com/wp-login.php?action=enter_recovery_mode&rm_token=6VtWijaBtnytyzEfaggoHh&rm_key=JyVfHXvtb5OGvIDQ364Cy0

To keep your site safe, this link will expire in 1 day. Don’t worry about that, though: a new link will be emailed to you if the error occurs again after it expires.

When seeking help with this issue, you may be asked for some of the following information:
    WordPress version 5.4.2
Current theme: Extra Child Theme (version 1.0)
Current plugin: Radio Station (version 2.3.2.3)
    PHP version 7.3.20

@hyde014 Please post a new topic for each issue otherwise they might get missed.

See the release notes to Freemius 2.4.0, the error you are getting is a false-positive for Freemius for an AJAX call that could be coming from anywhere. You would need to check you error logs to find out exactly what the fatal error is.
    https://github.com/Freemius/wordpress-sdk/releases

I have updated the latest development version of the plugin (2.3.3.2) to include the latest Freemius SDK (2.4.0), if you install that then Freemius will not be implicated as the error cause in the future (again, the actual bug could be coming from anywhere.)
