Love this plug in! But for some reason I can’t use the Divi Builder due to conflict with this plug in. Any suggestions?

    Thanks so much,
    Kc

thanks for the quick reply! It’s all good, for some reason I can use it on each page but it just doesn’t load from the top bar icon. I’m rolling along great now!

    Hi Jeff,
I’m having some problems. I was playing with the Divi theme which uses a Visual Builder.
First my images to Events Calender sidebar doubled and for the life of me I can’t seem to delete the extra image. I spent hours trying to figure it out.

Then when I left the Visual Builder on my home page, it deleted everything except some copy. I went back to current theme and everything was gone except Slider and footer. I managed to swipe the original HTML source code from a preview but I don’t know how to restore it on my homepage?

I would greatly appreciate your help. Thank you.

Hey I am glad to help, but I can’t guarantee the plugin will work with all themes. Some themes that user their own “visual” tools for theme settings may be doing stuff behind the scenes with Ajax that is outside of the WP API. The Theme Switcher plugin is tightly integrated with WP, so anything that strays too far outside of that is sort of on their own. My recommendation would be to modify themes that use their own custom visual options/builders directly, to help ensure that the settings are saved and nothing unexpected happens. For all themes that use the WP API and theme settings, you should be fine switching themes and modifying on the fly.

Can you point me in the right direction? How can I get rid of the extra image and possibly restore the home page?

    Thank you,

I’m not sure really it’s not my theme.. I would ask the theme developer who should be able to help.

Updated to add: if there is anything specific to the Theme Switcha plugin, let me know and I will do my best to help.
