# Divi?

 * I have since deleted the plugin and was about to leave a negative review, but
   thought I’d try the support channel first. Are there known compatibility issues
   with Divi and beyond that, with Safari on a macbook? I had the plugin working
   exactly as I wanted it to on a site running Unicon theme and copied every setting
   verbatim on a Divi themed site and it does not work. The errors are:
 * 1 – it doesn’t redirect and/or go away after selecting ‘yes’
 * 2 – it doesn’t show the messaging if a user selects ‘no’ after the page refreshes
 * Yes, I have been removing cookie/cache and trying in Chrome within incog window.
   Have restarted browsers, dumped WP cache with Breeze, etc.
 * The ONLY time I saw it function on Divi the way I intended was when in the Chrome
   session that I was logged in as site admin. Then, it showed the no message and
   redirected to the page (went away) if I hit yes.
 * Could it be a permission setting? Or is it the order in which you apply the gate
   itself? I was doing it on a per-page basis for testing and tried enabling it 
   from quick edit and edit screens, then opening in Divi PB and saving.

 * I should add that the JS version is a partial solution, and I say partial because
   the pop-up does not cover up the main site navigation at the top of the screen.

 * I have it working now if anyone else needs this. Under advanced tab for Age Gate,
   Custom CSS, added:
 * .age-gate-wrapper {
    z-index: 100000; }
 * and that brought the entire Age Gate display above the Divi nav header.

 * Glad you got it working, and came for support first 🙂
 * I think it’s best to go over the issues though in case anyone else comes across
   this/wants more info.
 * The first ones would still be down to caching, as as soon as you hit the page
   again, it will cache that response and put you in that endless, frustrating loop.
   It’d work when you’re logged in as the caching stops for logged in users (most
   of the time anyway).
 * For the `z-index`, the default for age gate is `9998` (I think off the top of
   my head) so that is sits below the WP admin bar if you’re logged in as there’s
   the tools in there for hiding/showing the age gate if you have it enabled. Of
   course as you’ve found if a theme or other plugin goes higher, it’ll beat the
   age gate. Sticky navs with probably go super high just to be sure they sit on
   top of everything.

 * Thanks Phil! I need to work on deep breathing and practice patience 😉 I honestly
   have no idea what Divi is setting for the z, so I went through the roof.
 * Many thanks for this plugin. The documentation is superior to 99% of the plugins
   out there (all of them, not just age verification tools) and the fact that you
   responded so quickly reflects highly on you. Keep up the amazing work!
