  • Hello all-
I am not a big fan of curly quotes — they’re OK, but WordPress seems to get them wrong often enough that it distracts me. I’d rather stick with straight up-and-down quotes and apostrophes. From searching the forums, I get that Texturize is something in WP that auto-curlies the quotes, and makes some of the other typographical smoothouts that I’ve noticed (em and en dashes, etc.). I can’t seem to find a specific page on Texturize itself though. My questions then are:
    1) Can I turn off just the curly quotes without affecting the rest of Texturize?
    2) If I can’t, is there a complete list somewhere of things that Texturize does so that I can decide whether I want to turn it off altogether?
    3) How do I go about turning it off?
    Thanks in advance,
