Support » Plugin: Advanced Editor Tools » Distraction free mode

  • I’ve seen this asked in other posts, but not answered, as far as I can see. TinyMCE advanced is a great plugin, but the custom TinyMCE controls disappear when you go into distraction free mode.

I guess there used to be a more standard full screen mode in WordPress which was replaced by distraction free mode. In a closed thread, the plugin author said you’d need a ‘small plugin’ to bring back TinyMCE functionality, but I don’t know what this plugin is.

If someone knows of this plugin, or has another hack to bring back this functionality, I’d like to hear it. Thanks.

You can have pretty much a full screen if you fold the admin menu (on the left) and set the screen to one column (from screen options).
