• Hi,
A number of images in some of my blog posts are showing as distorted (row of vertical lines at the bottom of image, or else image doesn’t load completely). In a recent post where it happened I tried uploading the same image with the bottom few millimetres cut off and it then displayed OK – but obviously I can’t do this with every image on the site! Any suggestions / ideas appreciated.

I can see you’re using Jetpack’s (or WordPress.com?) image CDN, and that’s where it’s getting messed up. I could contact support for either Jetpack or WordPress.com if you’re hosted there. They can fix it up in a jiffy.

Thanks very much – we had a look in Jetpack settings and clicked on a couple of settings which seem to have fixed it! Thanks very much for the pointer.
