The slideshow is indeed stopped by a JavaScript error. The error is caused as the slideshow tries to use a JavaScript function that’s almost always available on every WordPress website. However, the WPNG calender plugin on your website overrides a WordPress JavaScript file with an outdated version of the same JavaScript file. This removes the function that is required by the slideshow plugin.

Disabling or removing the WPNG calender plugin would solve the problem. As WordPress indicates on the WPNG calender plugin page, it’s a very outdated plugin.

A solution that would allow you to keep using the WPNG calender, is to remove everything from the “jquery.js” file found in your website’s “wp-content/plugins/wpng-calendar/js/” folder. After you’ve removed everything, save the empty file.

    Stefan,
Thanks for the quick response. I will be replacing that plugin with one that is both supported and more current.

    Regards
