Support » Plugin: WooCommerce Admin » Displaying third-party plugin notices on WooCommerce orders

  • Resolved Drazen Bebic

    Hello WooCommerce Admin team,

I noticed that the WooCommerce Admin plugin, for whatever reason, hides all notices created with the admin_notices hook.

I now have the problem that our company plugin stopped displaying custom notices on WooCommerce orders when this plugin is installed. I suppose that there is a proper way to handle this, and get our notices displayed even when this plugin is active.

    Any help would be appreciated.

  • I apologize, I just found out that there’s the “Notices” button, which shows the hidden notices when clicked.

Is there a way to display notices right away, without having to click the notices button?

Hi @drazenbebic, moving the notices to the top bar is a design decision in order to alleviate the number of notices that sometimes where overwhelming for users.

Currently, there are no plans to make this optional. We know it will change the user workflows, but we hope the change will be positive in the long term.

gotcha! That is totally fine and acceptable, I just need to know what to tell the plugin users when they complain about missing notification messages.

So far there have been none, I suspect that people found the “Notices” button quicker than I did 🙂
