Displaying Subcategories and Products Together

    I’m using 2.0.13 of WooCommerce and I want to be able to display the subcategories and products in a category together without displaying all the products in the subcategories as well.

    Is there a way to do this, I know there is a premium add-on that does this, but it isn’t exactly what I want, and the client won’t want to pay for more premium add-ons.

    Does anyone know where the query to select the products is, I’m quite happy to do some coding if that is what is needed.
