Displaying Recent Posts From Different Categories

Hey friends,

I’m making a website that has three different “widget” areas on the front page.

One is a Press Release section, one is an Associations section and one is a Trade Shows section.

They each have their own div that is a fixed height and width. I’d like my client to be able to create posts and have wordpress automatically spit the recent posts’ titles into their corresponding divs. Basically I would need 3 recent posts widgets… One for each category.

I’ve tried a few searches and haven’t found anything. Can someone recommend the best way to achieve this?
